I've been watching her TV show for a couple of years now (well on Youtube since we don't have it on TV) and after she host the freaking Oscar's I fell even more in love with her, so I start searching more about it and found out that she is also a writer, and she had a new book, which totally called my atention (also I saw Amarixe or Allison on Youtube talk about these book) so I went ahead and got it on my Kindle. These book was also my very first book to read in english. As I am a spanish native I always read in spanish, but i figure its time for me to start exploring my english reading skills, so I give this book a chance, and what a great decision!
Seriously...I'm kidding is a book about her thoughts which not always are very conclusive hahaha. Is really hard to explaing the line of the book because, well there isn't one, there are just short chapters about whatever thing Ellen was thinking, but when I was reading the book I realize that even though it may look like a hilarious hot mess, she has very deep thoughts about life, and she is right about a lot of them. This book really makes you thing about the simple and most important things in live.
A very light reading and very quickly to go through. I highly recommend this book to pretty much everyone. The only downside of reading the book is that some parts are made for the audiobook (there is a hole chapter for the listeners) but beside that its a very good book.
Usually not the kind of books that I would read, but from time to time I like exploring new genders. :)
